Grace Vargas

Grace Vargas, a dedicated member of the College Academy Class of 2022, is making incredible strides in the field of science and medicine.

Following a pre-med track the University of Florida, in spring 2025, Grace graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor degree in Microbiology and Cell Science with minors in Pathogenesis and Mathematics. While at UF, Grace was involved in Alpha Chi Sigma Fraternity, the professional chemistry fraternity and she gained valuable experience as a member of the university's neurotrauma rehabilitation research lab. 

During her time at UF, Grace founded To BEHOLD, a a community-based initiative that encourages members of the Gainesville community to uplift other underserved areas of the community. To BEHOLD teaches members transferable skills that are used to create items meant to alleviate the pressures experienced by underserved communities.

Grace also made time to serve as a Resident Care Assistant who led daily activities focused on engaging memory of the residents at an adult care facility.

We congratulate Grace on her graduation and wish her best of success on her journey as a future physician.
